The Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology (Sci-Tech) welcomes the submission of unsolicited manuscripts for articles, notes, and comments concerning the interaction between science, technology, and the law.
Submissions are generally accepted year-round with the majority of articles for each Volume selected between March and August.
Format Citation and Editing
The Journal generally conforms with The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21th edition, 2020), published by the Harvard Law Review Association, in conjunction with the Columbia Law Review, the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and the Yale Law Journal.
SciTech aims to ensure that accepted articles conform to proper citation, spelling and grammar rules; however, we do not alter authors’ substantive work and style. Prior to publication of any work, the author will receive a final version of his or her article for review and approval.
Expedited Requests
Expedite requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Sci-Tech is accepting submissions for Volume 36 with publication beginning in Fall 2025.
